Our team
Biography
Chad Taylor had a long trial period, considering that he started helping to teach the orthopedics course in 2010! Good thing he stuck with us because now he is coordinating the sports physical therapy residency. Dr. Taylor was a graduate of the VCU class of 2001. He started working at Henrico Doctors’ Sports Medicine and quickly rose to Manager and started assisting with the orthopedics lab with Lori Michener and Blaise Williams. Orthopedics must be hard on our faculty since Lori has moved on to University of Southern California and Nike hired Blaise to move to Oregon and open up a running research lab at their headquarters. Chad has moved to the helm and is leading the three-semester series on musculoskeletal physical therapy. He continues to recruit several leaders in the physical therapy community who help teach their areas of expertise and we appreciate the clinics that help with student observation. We are glad to have his organizational and clinical skills.
